Formed by National Taiwan University Department of Electrical Engineering’s professor Chun-Ting Chou and Department of Computer Science & Information Engineering’s professors Ai-Chun Pang and Shou-De Lin, and founded under Ministry of Science and Technology’s program, OmniEyes collects data through mobile devices, video analytics, and state of art AI technology. By connecting city/nationwide mobile video, OmniEyes provides brand new applications and services for an all new solutions for both B2B and B2C. Compared with Google’s update which can take up to 18 months or 1 year, OmniEyes offers updates within the 10 seconds time frame.  

OmniEyes is recognized by the international industry/VC and won the Innovations Award amongst 40 competing companies during CES 2019 in Las Vegas. With high praises from Amazon, OmniEyes was also awarded the one and only Startup Terrace-AWS Joint Innovation Center Awardduring Innovex 2019. Currently OmniEyes’ solution is a new generation fleet management system which will harness big data through street video. Through this solution, OmniEyes is also building a crowd-sharing street information platform for various applications such as ADAS system, digital map, autonomous vehicles, product marketing, smart city solutions for B2B, and real time street view, search engines, virtual guidance for B2C --- all being the rising market opportunities. OmniEyes attracted funding from notable investors such as Fubon Financial Holding Co., Ltd and National Development Fund with a total of $60,000,000 New Taiwan Dollars. 

Currently the company is composed of 13 individuals, 7 of which are of R&D team, collaborating with the 3 co-founders from National Taiwan University to form a one of a kind team including Masters and Doctors ranging across fields such as telecommunications, video analytics and AI from University of Michigan, University of Southern California, National Taiwan University, National Tsing Hua University and National Chiao Tung University that stands out in Taiwan. The team have successfully applied for over 40 national and international patents in the past, and published over 100 papers. OmniEyes is a team with high potential which focus heavily on research and development, investing over 78% of its resources.
